Connecting is as simply as running a couple shell commands. The script we set up will create a reverse-SSH tunnel into our servers so your database connection is never available on the open Internet.

Design Your API

Once you’re connected, we provide you with some simple tools to choose exactly which pieces of information you’d like to include in your API. Our API editor is easy to use and requires only minimal knowledge of your database.

After you've got data where you want it, just provide short descriptions of each piece of information. We use this to customize your automatically generated documentation.

If you’re not sure how best to expose your data, we’re happy to help and can walk you through the concepts of awesome APIs to make sure your API is world-class.

Customize and Add Your Brand

Your API comes with a developer portal that you can customize to your application and brand. This portal helps users of your API get up and running quickly, and can even be configured with billing plans so you can monetize your API.

While every API is automatically secured with access tokens, you can also configure a user-based authentication system for more fine-grained controls

You can even give your API and portal a custom hostname (like api.yourcompany.com) so it feels more natual!
